Settling in

We are really enjoying getting settled and exploring the new area. With the move with gave away the little tricycle and upgraded Brooke to her first big girl bike with training wheels (this was Chloe's 1st real bike as well). We found a few playgrounds one of them is on base and all of them are very nice. One was in the river district and has beautiful scenery! There is a farm about 1 mile from our house that sells farm chicken eggs and will be our egg supplier :). I also brought the girls to the movies to see inside out and it was a great movie. We have registered Chloe for 2nd grade and will attend at west creek and take the bus to and from school, at the back to school bash they had a firetruck from the 30's, bounce houses, food and games the girls had a nice time. We have also visited a nice furniture store outside of nashville where we ordered a fe things to complete our house. The last outing was the zoo. It was a very nice zoo and we have become members! The girls and I loved all the animal exhibits and they even got to feed the lorikeets!

Trip to New England July 15'

Since it took a few weeks for our household goods to get delivered it was a great time to visit family (and get our dog Koa that my sister so kindly watched for a few months) some of which it had been 2 or more years since we had seen. We had a great time catching up with all. The girls love Grandpa and MOD's playground! Chloe had fun on the riding lawn mower and both girls enjoyed grandpa's special version of hide n seek.I loved visiting with my friend Reanna and getting to spend a night with her family and berry picking fun at cider hill farm. We were able to visit Pat's grandmother and have a nice breakfast at hampton airfield and visit back at her house. At my parents we enjoyed a family reunion while celebrating my nephew Devon's 22nd birthday. Chloe loved her fishing trip with Pat and mountain Grampa she caught several perch and the guys each got a Bass :). We also had a great outing to Charimingfare farm. Brooke especially loved the goats and Chloe the horse back ride. Our final stop was my sister's and reunion with Koa all parties were happy to see each other. The cousins had a blast playing in the yard, tree house and in the house. We had an awesome trip to Canobie, and enjoyed nice weather that day. Chloe was very brave and went on the canon ball with Pat and said she loved it, Brooke is very daring as well and said her favorite was the kids dragon roller coaster ride! It was sad to end our trip and say goodbye but a bit easier knowing we are now just a few hour plane ride away
