Chloe had so much fun at the disney hotel (Aulani) when we went for Brooke's 1st birthday and has talked about it since. This year she opted out of a birthday party for 2 nights of family fun at the Aulani. Boy was it jam packed with fun! We had so much fun doing all the activities from the "kid's waterpark", the lazy river, tube slide, snorkeling at their contained reef pool, the infinity pool, sprinkler octopus, and ocean fun on the floating dock. Non water fun including the character breakfast, a menahune "hunt", crafts & games at Auntie's house and making a lei for Chloe. Chloe had a blast all day on her birthday and was so happy about getting to go to the disney hotel.

Hawaiian Fall Fun
Fall is full of fun even if the temperature is still warm. We had a blast at the pumpkin patch and with cloud cover had the coolest temps since we went the first time 6 falls ago! The girls both enjoyed a few rides, brooke sticking with the bounce house and Chloe the pirate ship and tilt a whirl. The petting zoo is always a hit and Chloe even tested out a kid's safe archery game. Both Girls even helped carry their pumpkins even if just for a minute or two. They enjoyed the candy apples we made at home. They each picked their jack o lanterns faces and Chloe also drew her on the pumpkin and assisted getting the insides scooped out.
We also went to the preschool carnival that we've attended the last few years and this year they had moved it to the ocean front so we enjoyed a wonderful beach breeze during our time there. The girls played mini golf, games, saw friends and had pizza and even flavor your own shaved ice. It was a fun outing for sure :)
Brooke & I enjoyed a halloween stroller strides class then after class the kiddos got to go stroller to stroller for stroller treating :) she had lots of fun
We went to the annual neighborhood potluck at the park a few minutes from our house and the girls enjoyed playing with friends prior to trick or treating. This year Chloe was a cowgirl and Brooke was Pocahontas They of coarse loved trick or treating & Brooke even learned to say trick or treat and thank-you once the treats were safely in her bag :). Chloe ended the night helping Pat hand candy out which she also loves to do :)

Chloe starts 1st grade
Can't believe Chloe has now entered elementary school! She looks so grown up in her uniform. She also starts to have gym class this year as well. She loves scrambled eggs and bacon so I made that for her first day. She was ready and excited to return to school and even more excited when she found out her kindergarten teacher was moving up to 1st grade and would be her teacher again :). She is also looking forward to see her school friends again, playing on the elementary playground and not napping at school anymore.
Grandpa and MOD visit
The girls had so much fun with this visit. Brooke is getting older and coming out of being so clingy to mommy. Both girls continue to be amazed and love Grandpa's magic trick of finding money behind their ears. They brought along pin the tail on the donkey which both girls had so much fun doing time and time again (there were 30 tails). The girls both got a kick out of grandpa "hiding" during hide and seek as a tree, the funny thing was Chloe actually passed him one time, it was too funny. We enjoyed a few meals out as well as cooking out at home. Pat and I were able to get away for a full 48 hours to the north shore here on Oahu to turtle bay which we enjoyed very much. Chloe Got a taste of being a big girl going on a stay cation to Waikiki with Grandpa & MOD. Brooke and I stayed for a for hours the first day and enjoyed some pool time and dinner all together before heading home. Chloe had lots of beach and pool time which she can never seem to have enough of. She also had an awesome time designing her own flip-flops. A very exciting trip for all and sad time always go by so fast.
