Kauai 2013

Brooke experienced her first trip to Kauai and we had our third :) So far it's our favorite island! We stayed at the navy cottages we love so much and had a lot of beach time there and the girls loved it!! We traveled there with another family we are good friends with. One day the guys went deep sea fishing with a doctor Pat knows from the civilian hospital he does some rotations at. The caught a Mahi Mahi that they brought home to grill that night but no pictures taken (guys aren't so good at taking pictures). That day the moms and kids went on the plantation train ride that we a great time. We also ate at our favorite restaurant on the navy base right next to the beach. Overall a nice and relaxing family and friend gateaway hawaiian style :)

Mother's day & Ballet

I had a wonderful mother's day, Chloe picked me flowers from the yard, made 2 beautiful cards at school and, a sweet edible fruit arrangement with balloons (Brooke enjoyed some of the fruit during the pictures). We ended the day with a family trip to a lagoon for Chloe to "fish" and some playground time

Chloe has continued with Ballet this spring but is not enjoying it as much as she has other sessions since the form and moves have becoming more challenging. She has her spring performance at the end of the month and will take the summer off and see what her interests are in the fall :)

Nana & Aunt Missy Visit

We had a wonderful visit with my mom and sister! We did a lot of activities and even managed to go to stroller strides one day while I taught class. Both girls love the beach and had the most fun at the beach cottage and our trip to the zoo. The luau was a lot of fun too and all loved to watch the show especially the fire dancer! Brooke also liked the hikes we did since mom carried her on my back :) We hiked Manoa falls, Diamond head and the waimea valley walk. We also celebrated my sister's birthday, which birthday fun is always exciting especially to Chloe! Lots of fun and memories made :)
