Pat's birthday and more

Chloe loves birthdays an wrapped 5 extra gifts for Pat with things from her room she wanted to give him like shells, pirate bandana and more. To our surprise when we were singing Brooke blow out the candle, didn't realize she could do that! Brooke is starting to become more like a toddler than baby, wanting to play dress-up at times. She continues to love our dog Koa cuddling with him and standing on him to see over the couch, very cute :)

A fun Saturday

We went to the annual fall craft fair on base. The girls enjoyed doing a craft and Chloe loved her horse back ride while Brooke enjoyed watching the horses. Later in the afternoon we set up the kids tent Chloe got for her birthday in the backyard. I made oven smores  which both girls loved. After putting Brooke to bed Chloe and I read a special story and watch a movie before falling asleep it was a fun first camp-out, well except my sore back :)

Chloe turns 6

Can't believe where the time has gone my little girl (not so little though is now 4ft 1 1/2 inches) turned six. She is very sweet, caring, energetic and loves the outdoors. We had a party with a few games at our house this year. She invited 4 girls her age along with their younger siblings. They all had so much fun, I think the highlight was the dance party with balloons.

Uncle Tim and Aunt Melissa Visit

Tim and Melissa came out for Chloe's birthday this year. The girls had so much fun playing with them, going to the zoo, a luau and lots of fun during Chloe's party and around the house :). Chloe also loved her new cowgirl wear they gave her for her birthday

Pumpkin patch and Halloween

The pumpkin patch was even more built up this year with more rides, games and food. Chloe was so excited when we ran into her friend Addie by the rides so they could ride the pirate ship together, we then headed out to search for pumpkins, it was a very hot morning but a lot of fun!

Halloween- This year Chloe decided to be tinkerbell which was cute so Brooke could were a similar costume of a garden fairy which Chloe wore when she was 2. We headed down to the park behind our house for potluck and plenty of playtime, then once it got dark went trick or treating stopping at a few house on our way back to ours. Got Brooke to bed then handed out candy with Chloe which she loves to do :)

No training Wheels!

After a training wheel fell off on it's own we decided to take the other one off. I've brought CHloe down to a large grass area the last 2 evening to practice in the grass, and so far so good, she is starting to get a hang of it, in the grass anyways :)

The waterfront at Puuloa

We've been heading over to the waterfront at Puuloa more for beach time, here in Ewa Beach (this is the area where Stroller strides has our tuesday/thursday classes). We've been going with our good friends Jeri and her girls Addie and Hayden. Sadly their time in Hawaii is coming to a close in a month but we will have lots more beach fun with them until then.

Brooke is Growing!

Brooke is growing and getting into everything. At night when I was brushing Chloe teeth she would find a package of pull-ups and stand on them to get to reach higher onto the sink counter so I took her cue and got out the stair steps for her side of the sink which she easily climbs up and down. She loves Chloe and trying to do whatever she may be doing, she likes trying out her ballet dance poses just like Chloe, it's so cute!

Glow 5k

Brooke got to join in the stroller for her first race. We did the Hawaii glow 5k at aloha stadium. Brooke enjoyed the run and of coarse Chloe love it. Our evening started by getting all the glow accessories ready, we decorated the stroller with glow braclets on the handle, and on the side, Chloe loved getting herself ready, and continued to change her accessories, from a glow belt, to necklaces and much more. During the run there was a lot of music throughout the coarse, bubbles, fog, foam, strobe lights and more. It was a nice family event :)
