After Stroller Strides the kids had a few fun activities they searched the park for shamrocks a leprechaun had hid. They then put them on their necklaces. They also colored in a rainbow, I thought Chloe's came out very good :) She had a fun morning!

Waimea Bay
Saturday we headed up to the north shore for a family day. We hadn't been up that way for 6 months so it was a fun outing. The large winter waves on the north shore had washed up a lot of shells for us to find and collect. Chloe's large sand sifter was quite full. We had wonderful weather and stopped in Haleiwa for a yummy Mexican lunch. It was a fun day :)
power outage
The week before the tsunami we had a rain/wind storm with wind gusts up to 60 mph here in Ewa Beach. There was a lot of power line and poles down. Also many trees and light poles were damaged and broken. Our neighborhood was without power for 24 hours. Chloe enjoyed it once it got dark that evening and I lite some candles. She wanted to pretend it was her birthday so we sang and she blew out the candle many times. We made it through the outage with just losing some meat in the freezer but saved all the other food :)
