Christmas Day

We had a wonderful day and Pat had the whole weekend that we spent together :). We had our traditional Golden's fried dough breakfast which Chloe of coarse loved. Chloe had so much fun opening all of her presents and playing with them as she opened them. She also received a pretty traditional Korean dress From Uncle Tim and Auntie Melissa that Chloe wore it to Christmas dinner at our friend's house. She also really liked her shopping cart and scooter :)

Events leading to Christmas

We sure have stayed busy in the weeks leading up to Christmas. I didn't always have my camera on hand but do have a few pictures from some of the things we did. We first started with decorating the house inside and out for the holidays. Chloe loved this and was so excited about the decoration you would have thought she had drank an espresso the way she was running around and her level of excitement, which was great to see and help us feel more like kids again. We took several walks around the neighborhood to look at all the beautiful light displays as well as going to the Kapolei light parade. We did some Christmas caroling and the kids had out cookies we had made. We also went to the mall for the holiday train ride and to see Santa. We also made sugar cookies for santa and picked which ones she wanted for herself and which ones were for Santa. We also had a harvest from our banana tree all the bananas that had grown this summer had riped and needed to be picked, plan for lots of banana bread! Chloe really enjoyed all the things we did this month :)

Grandpa Visits

Chloe had so much fun have Grandpa visit. We got to do so much together, halloween, Chloe's birthday and a trip to Kauai. Chloe's favorite thing was playing with squirt guns with grandpa :) We also went to the zoo, duck pond and lots of sites on Kauai. It was a nice visit!

Chloe's 4th Birthday

We celebrated Chloe's birthday on Kauai. We went on a train ride and it stopped to feed some wild pigs some bread which Chloe enjoyed. We got a cake at a local supermarket and celebrated at our beach cottage, it was a great day :) On the weekend we had a party for Chloe's friends at a pool. Chloe loved playing with her friends and was in the pool as much as she could be :) We also played a game like hot potato but with water balloons that all the kids enjoyed! Can't believe Chloe is really 4 time has gone so fast!

Halloween 2011

We had stroller strides in the morning and a playground potluck before trick or treat made for a busy but fun day. Chloe was so excited to dress up like Rapunzel for the day! I even got in on the fun for stroller strides and went for the 80's attire. We tried out the new double stroller for all the extra equipment and goodies needed for the special class.

Hiking retry

We found a resource for hiking with kids on Oahu and picked a hike that was hopefully good for Chloe. Well it worked she did a great job and enjoyed the 1.7 mile loop on the Pu'u Ualaka'a trail. We had a beautiful drive up to the trail head and during the hike had some beautiful views of the ocean and diamond head. Throughout the hike we saw some bamboo trees, banyan trees and much more, it was a good morning :)

Pumpkin patch 2011

We went with a few families from church this year and Chloe enjoyed being there with some friends. She rode the swing ride and the hay ride then it was to the patch to pick some pumpkins. Afterwards we went back to another families house for pumpkin craving :)

Trip to New England

We had a wonderful trip back east. Lots of visiting and fun at all of our stops. We did so many things it's easy to lose track. We had several playground trips the swings always being Chloe's favorite :). We also visited the york zoo, boston children's museum, the mall for build a bear, some fun feeding chickens, a walk on the beach and lots of other stops with Chloe's Cousins. It was great to see everyone again!!!
