Nana & Grampa

Well Nana & Grampa have arrived and we've been having fun. We've gone to a luau, several beaches, Makapuu lighthouse, manoa falls and have gone up to get shaved ice on the north shore. Chloe is having a blast and was already wanting to hold Nana's hand instead of mommy's by the crosswalk outside the airport terminal :) Lots more fun planned!

Banana Man 5K

We had a fun family morning running in the Banana Man chase 3.1 miles around a beach park in Honolulu. Pat pushed the stroller and I ran without. We had a great time trying to catch the guys dressed in a big banana costume. (they got a 60 second head start) Afterwards there was a lot of activities for the kids, Chloe had a great time in the bouncy house and got a monkey balloon animal and even got her finger prints done for a safety kid info card. The first thing Chloe said we she woke up this morning was get the banana it was cute :) I'm just sad that I forgot to get a family photo at the event

Lanikai Morning

Yesterday Chloe and I headed to the windward side of the island for a great morning. We went to our first Hawaiian Craft fair to buy some decorations for the new house (we move in June 21st) then to lovely Lanikai beach where the sand is so fine like powder! Chloe loves her new noodle for the pool and beaches and swam most of the time and we saw a few fish around the rocks in the water. Chloe loves the noodle so much because she can 'swim' by herself :)

Cont beach fun with Pat

Chloe loves Tuesdays because we go to the lagoons at Ko'Olina with her friend Pat. This week Stephanie took some nice pictures of the kids while I was swimming. After we walked over to the rocks and found a great surprise. Lots of small hermit crabs to play with! We put a lot in the bucket to watch them then returned them to their home after a bit. It was another great Tuesday morning :)
